Back At Home

Summit Motorsports Park has always felt like our home track, and this weekend was no different. During testing and qualifying, the Gutierrez Brothers Racing team made consistent low 5.30 passes and showed great performance.

JP Gutierrez qualified the M1 Concourse dragster No. 3 with a strong 5.31 at 269 mph. Unfortunately, our weekend came to an end in the first round of eliminations when an early rod failure prevented us from getting around Bradford.

While the result wasn’t what we were hoping for, we’re encouraged by the consistency and performance we found throughout the weekend. We’re excited to return to Summit Motorsports Park next weekend for the NHRA National Event and look forward to another opportunity to compete.
